Dietary Research Study Involving Potatoes
MB Clinical Research is looking for generally healthy, overweight male and female volunteers age 18 to 74 for a research study evaluating the effects of eating potatoes on insulin sensitivity, related metabolic markers, and hunger.

What is my time commitment to the study?
- You will be asked to visit our clinic on 5 occasions over approximately 2 weeks. The study visits will last between 3 and 6 hours.

Is there a study stipend?
- There is no cost for participation in this study. All study related food, tests and procedures are at no cost to you and we do not bill insurance. For your participation, you will receive up to $325.


You may be able to participate if you are:

1. Age 18 to 74 years old

2. In generally good health and overweight

3. Willing to maintain usual diet and physical activity patterns

4. Willing to attend 5 clinic visits of approximately 2 weeks

Note that other entry criteria will apply and can be discussed with our study staff. Lab values, blood pressure, weight measurements and study related questionnaires will be performed at your first clinic visit.

Compensation

There is no cost for participation in this study. All study related food, tests and procedures are at no cost to you and we do not bill insurance. For your participation, you will receive up to $325.
