Research & Me Announces Partnership with Folds of Honor

Written by Rob C. | May 08, 2023

Chicago, IL, May 4, 2023 – Research & Me has announced a partnership with Folds of Honor, an organization that provides life-changing educational scholarships to the spouses and children of fallen or disabled US service members and first responders. This partnership is inspired by two of the founding members of the Research & Me team, who have served on Active Duty and continue to serve in the U.S. Army Reserve.

As part-time Soldiers with over three decades of experience, these Research & Me founding members have seen first-hand the impact that military service and personal sacrifice has on the military family. And as parents, they understand the importance of a child’s future, especially if a parent is not there because they paid the ultimate sacrifice. It is through their service and dedication that Research & Me is proudly supporting Folds of Honor.

Research & Me donates a portion of revenue to Folds of Honor. Together with the research community, we can help make the mission a reality by honoring the children, spouses and legacy of this nation’s heroes. Research & Me is privileged to join forces with such an incredible organization, bringing more awareness to their mission and contributing to the success of this incredible cause that supports the deserving by honoring the brave.

"Folds of Honor is proud to team up with Research & Me," said Folds of Honor CEO and Founder, Lieutenant Colonel Dan Rooney.  "We believe the partnership will be a force multiplier to the mission and awareness of Folds of Honor and increase scholarship funding to the families of American military and first responder heroes. Together we will meet sacrifice with hope.”

Folds of Honor is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization founded in 2007 by Lieutenant Colonel Dan Rooney, a decorated F-16 Viper Fighter Pilot, providing educational scholarships to the spouses and children of military members who have fallen or been disabled while serving in the United States armed forces or as America’s first responders, including police, fire, EMTs, and paramedics. As a four-star charity by Charity Navigator and Platinum on GuideStar, Folds of Honor has awarded more than 44,000 scholarships totaling nearly $200 million, with minority recipients representing 41% of all scholarships awarded.
